The system requirement variables for the Nokia portable computer are the input which are the keypad, the camera, microphones, touch screen and the batteries, the output includes the main iterator screen, speakers where these are the functional system requirements where this components are both monitored and controlled, the software requirements include software’s that capture information from the input devices such as the camera, keypad, touch screen and the output devices are supported by the CPU that commands and displays results back in to the screen or the speaker. • Suppose that during the modification of an existing system, the group of the parties concerned include five individuals. The elicitation technique I would be using for this scenario is Artifact-driven elicitation technique since that this technique is a data collection used to gather undocumented facts and figure which includes any existing information about the system that can be gathered from number of sources which are preexisting document of the current system ,data samples ,questionnaire , system prototypes , reusable knowledge ,conceptual grid and story board and scenarios .basically it is what you would get from the company. This technique is helpful for eliciting non-functional requirements on performance, usability and cost . the difficulties faced while using this technique includes 1. Getting reliable data may take time 2. Data must be correctly interpreted. • Imagine that a homeowner has contracted you to remodel their house. Interviews are the primary technique for knowledge elicitation in this scenario. There are two types of interviews which are structured and unstructured interviews. Structured interview which is a predetermined set of questions and its benefits includes 1. This interview is specific to purpose of the interview. 2. This is a more focused discussion. 3. It is consequential amongst topics and no rambling amongst topics 4. Unstructured interview is not a predetermined set of question and its benefits are there is 5.
